Known as «Dana» in the world of retro video game development, I was born in Barcelona in the 1980s and am now based in Shanghai. My professional journey has been a continuous adventure of learning and entrepreneurship. From a young age, I’ve been driven by a passion for knowledge, often adopting a self-taught approach.
I founded my first company at 16 and have since ventured into diverse fields, including establishing a pastry factory, real estate development, online gaming development, creating themed furniture, establishing cybersecurity companies, and even creating several shops online.
Each of these experiences has been a building block in my growth, and I have successfully exited each venture as new professional and family milestones have arrived.
My last company, Greenboy Games, was a Game Boy game development studio, a project I was deeply passionate about and through which I ran three successful Kickstarter campaigns:
After concluding this journey, I sold the company to take on a more personal challenge: actively participating in my son’s education, which included moving to a new country. I created a unique interactive book-game concept, where readers engage with the story on an e-reader, using a joystick and a visual inventory and health system to actively participate in the narrative and make choices as they read.
Currently, I am creating INK CONSOLE as a solo project, managing all aspects independently. From electronics, programming and design to marketing and production, I am dedicated to overseeing every part of the process to bring this project to life.
With a background that includes studies at ESADE Business School, fluency in programming languages like Python, C++, and Haskell, and proficiency in Chinese (HSK4), I have further specialized with certifications such as LPIC-3 in Linux and OSCP in cybersecurity, apart from creating videogames and DIY maker creator. These skills have allowed me to diversify and adapt my projects to global trends and market needs.
Today, through this space, I’m excited to continue exploring ways to blend technology, learning, and creativity, bringing innovative, meaningful solutions to audiences of all ages.
